Web Development
Beverly Hills Chairs

Brief

In the summer of 2013, I interned at the Veloz Group, Inc. in Los Angeles, a collection of startup companies under one umbrella. As part of my responsibilities as the lead of design, I had to oversee the design & development of a new e-Commerce website for Beverly Hills Chairs, one of the portfolio businesses.

Process

Upon meeting with the founders of the company, I identified the requirements for the new website. One of the main constraints was time, so we decided to browse for high-quality templates we can leverage. Then, I worked with my design team to fine tune and customize the template to our specific needs.

Result

The designs captured the intended tone and provided the desirable functionality for the e-Commerce site. I worked with the development team to ensure that the implementation was visually & functionally correct.

Meanwhile, my magnum opus during this internship was building the UI/UX for an online ordering tool.

Here are the samples from this work. Keep in mind that back in early 2010's skeuomorphic design was the strongest prominent design trend. Please inquire to get more details.
